#1 Set Up (15-20 minutes):
1) Two teams of 6
2) 6 v 3 to 3 transition
3) 45x25
4) The field should be divided into two halves
Rules:
1) 3 defenders may enter the opponents half to try and win the ball
2) If the 3 defenders win the ball, they try and play the ball to their three teammates on the other side
3) Start with unlimited touches. If the players are too comfortable, you can restrict their touches 3 touches or 2 touch.
4) Every time the attacking team completes 8 consecutive passes, they get a point
5) Play to a predetermined number.
6) If the ball goes out, the coach should play the next ball in or balls are placed just outside the activity, for quick restart.
#2 Set Up (20-25 minutes):
1) 6 v 6 + 2 Targets
2) Two teams of 6 with 2 targets on each end line
3) Field is 50x35
Rules:
1) Bi-directional game to targets
2) If you get the ball to one target, you must get the ball to the opposite target for a point
3) You may add touch restrictions as the game progresses
4) Play to a certain amount of points
#3 Set Up (20-25 minutes)
1) 6v6 or 7v7 to wide goals
2) Four goal game
3) Middle channel
4) Two teams of 6/7
Rules:
1) Each team attacks and defends two goals
2) Players in the middle zone have no more than two touches (promote quick play through the middle)
3) Every time a goal is scored, a point is awarded to the team that scores. Goals can be scored in either attacking goal.
4) Play 5-8 minute games at high intensity with a 1 minute break in between.
