#1 Turning in Lanes

Set Up:

1) Pairs with a ball

2) Each pair is set up in their own grid

3) Make a line of cones in the middle that players turn away from

Rules:

1) One player from each pair dribbles toward the center line, before the player gets to the endline, they they perform a specific turn (pull-push, Cruyff and step-over)

2) After player performs their turn, they dribble back and switch with their partner

*You can make this a race too

#2 Gate Game (1v1 or 2v2)

Set Up:

1) Two even groups

2) Balls always start with the defending team

3) Two gates located about 10-15 yds apart

4) Grid should be 10x10 or 15x15 yds

Rules:

1) Defending team passes to the attacking team

2) Once the attacking team receives the ball, they try and dribble through one of the two gates

3) If the defending team wins the ball, they can also score a point by dribbling through one of the gates

4) Play two minutes and then have the teams switch roles

5) Team with the most points after 4 minutes, wins.

#3 6 Goal Game

Set Up:

1) Two teams of four players. Use the other players as subs

2) Coach has extra balls on the side

3) Play always starts from the coach

Rules:

1) Attacking team can score in any of their three goals

2) Each team has 3 goals to defend and 3 goals to attack

3) 10 minute games
