Organization:
-15-16 players
-Area: Half Gym

Players split into 2 teams. Play starts with coach calling a teams calling, that is the signal for that player to come and receive the ball. Opposition defender player can move on attackers first touch - they then play 1v1 to either goals.
Variations/Progressions:
-Both players can come out at the same time

-Turn to face the defender quickly
-Dribble at defender with speed
-Quick changes of direction/speed
-Acceleration away from defender

Organization:
1. 30 x 30 Area Size.
2. Split group into two teams.
Instructions:
1. Player A passes and presses Player B.
2. Player B tries to score in either of the goals.
3. Player A will try to win the ball back and score in either of the goals aswell.
Coaching Points:
1. Attack space ahead (bigger 1st touch).
2. Head up to see defenders position.
3. Recognition of space and pressure.
5. Cutting across player after turn.
6. Protect ball if continue to dribble (put body between the defender and ball).
7. Head up after turn to make next action (end product).

Equipment:
- All ball placed in or beside goal
- Players placed in two lines on each side of goal
Organization:
- When coach plays ball out, first player in each line must run around the cone.
- First player to collect ball is on offense, other plays defense, on a turn over players switch roles
- Must do one move (emphesis on step over) before being alowed to shoot - no move = no score.
Key Coaching Points:
- Players MUST work on moves.
- Work to beat players and find a shot.
PROGRESSION:
- Move players to 2 v 2, and 3 v 3 situations

Turning - dribbling and turns (10 mins)
Set up: Lots of squares randomly coned on the pitch.
Some players with ball, some without. Players with ball have to dribble to a empty square and stop the ball in the square.
Players without the ball have to find a ball in a square, as they approach the ball, turn into space and dribble and find a new square to stop the ball in.
PROGRESSION - All players have a ball. Must dribble round the pitch, find an empty square, and enter and exit the squre in a different side, performing a turn in the middle of the square.
