Set Up:
1.) Groups of three and two balls
2.) Defender passes to attacker and closes them down
3.) Shadow (jockey) attacker until they dribble to the opposite side
4.) Defenders do not steal the ball to start
5.) Once attacker reaches the other side, the players switch roles
Rules:
1.) After defender plays the ball to the attacker, they defender jockeys the attacker working on staying goal side and that their spacing is correct
2.) Make sure that the defender is working on back peddling and being side-on (not facing straight forward)
3.) As the defenders start to get better positioning, then you can have them try and steal the ball
4.) Defenders should be working on being patient (control and restraint)
