Instructions:
Phase I or Option II: Dynamic Warm Up
50 Touch Dribble Challenge: Begin with the players dribbling around the grid. Coach's Command Dribbling Techniques - Left, Right, Both, Inside/Outsides
Individual Knock Out: Coach's command players then work to try to knock the ball out of the boundaries. Once the players' ball is knocked out they can come back in and try to steal the ball like a regular defender.
Keep Away Game: When Coach says a color group that Color Group leaves their ball and then attempts to steal the ball from their partner on the opposite team. If the defender wins the ball they try to keep it away from the new defender. If the original PWB maintains possession they get 5 pts. If they lose the ball knock one PT off. Play for 15 seconds then reset and have all players back on the ball waiting for Coach's signal.
Phase II or Option II: Marble Masters
- Select 1 - 4 Players to pick up their balls and be the first 'Marble Masters'
Their job is to run around the grid and try to throw their soccer ball at their teammates' soccer ball as they run around in the grid. If the 'Marble Master' hits your soccer ball they swap roles with the player that they hit.
Point System: Everyone starts out with 10 PTS if they are dribblers, every time a 'Marble Master' hits their soccer ball they lose a point. The first Marble Masters start off with 9 PTS. The objective is to hold to the highest possible amount of points based on the role they began with.
