Organization: 2 areas opposite each other 5x5. Grid to be set up 40x25. 2 gates on each side of the grid.
Instructions: A starts with ball and dribbles through the gate infront and then attempts to cross the ball to make it so that B can control it in the area that they are in. B then dribbles the ball to join the next line.
Coaching Points: Positive first touch out of feet, head up to see where crossing, choose technique.
Lofted Cross -
•Angle of approach – off center
•Head up to observe your target area as the ball travels
•Head down at the point of contact
•Follow through is controlled
•Target area is the back post area from a deeper position on the field
Progressions:
- Change direction to use other foot.

Organization: Grid size 50x30. One goal, 3 lines.
Instructions: Ball starts with A, plays a pass to B, dribbles the ball down the line and plays a cross into the shaded area for A and C to finish on goal.

Organization: 5v5 with goalkeepers + 2 neutrals on the outside in the shaded areas. Grid size 40x50.
Instructions: Ony 1 player allowed in the outside areas. No-one else allowed in to tackle them. Can score 'normally for 1 goal, or 3 goals if you can get the ball to the winger and score from a cross.
Coaching Points:
- Movement of winger must be good to get free
- Play the ball into a dangerous area - corridor of uncertainty
- Technique of crossing
Progressions:
- limit the number of players who are allowed past halfway, ie no defenders which should allow for the ball to get to the winger receiving deep.

Instructions: Players to look to either drill or curl the ball around the cone to their partner.
