Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Dribble & Turn

Dribble & Turn

• Players A and B dribble at the central cone
• Perform at 180 degree turn and then pass the ball back to the next player at the start station.
• The next players on the start station receive the pass and take a touch on the back foot.  They then pass the ball to the next player on the other side.
• The sequence then starts again.

TURNS

• Hook Turn
• Reverse Scissor
• Mana Turn
  

COACHING POINTS

• Weight, speed and accuracy of pass
• Look to receive on the half turn
• Fake and disguise before the turn
• Scan and be aware of the surrounding area
