Handball

Set up
  • Create a suitable circle so you can transition into the Technical Circle straight away (remember the size from the previous week as you are trying to reduce the size in time)
  • Use your tactics board to write down the activity (in time the kids will then manage themselves)
  • Players should be able to manage this themselves whilst you set up the next part of the session
  • Leave 2x colour of bibs for players to put on as they arrive 

Rules

  • Players try to stop the opposition players from grabbing the ball
  • Players can run and dribble, but must stand still and release the ball once they are tagged

  • 5 minutes max, just until the kids have arrived

  • Progress to keep score - 1pt for each successful pass; first two people at training are captains :)
