Description 

• 1. Start with 2 equals teams, may add JOKERS if you like to help create overloads
• 2. Place equal number of players from each team into the squared out area,those players must remain in the square for the practise
• 3. The rest of the players set up formation,DEFENDERS,WINGERS,FORWARDS
• 4. Play the game as normal,main focus is to play into the square area (MIDFIELD) then look to play through the zone
• 5. You must play through the zone before you can score

WHY THE FOCUS

• Brave teams play through teams
• Help players play under pressure
• Receiving in tight areas
• It may DRAG players into the space to create space in wider areas
• Highlight breaking lines with passes

Coaching points

• Movement of the players in the zone
• Body shape in receiving the ball
• Decision making,when to play forward,play HOME (BACKWARDS)
• Build up play,May play wide 1st then play through ZONE or may play through zone then to play wide
• Passes, WEIGHT,SPEED,ACCUARCY,TYPE OF PASS
